As a result, KZN Rail’s comprehensive tram and railway track works services, with a strong focus on junction stations and turnout systems, ensure high quality workmanship, which translates into operational safety and long durability. Apart from typical construction services, the company also provides highly specialized turnout block logistics services, where the key role is played by Switcher, our innovative turnout transport and unloading system. KZN Rail is the operator of this system. This modern tool follows a blueprint of continuous development, made possible by close cooperation with our parent company.
Based on many years of experience in the production of railway turnouts, KZN “Bieżanów” Sp. z o.o. extended its production capacities in the field of turnout junctions, tram turnouts, their components and track equipment, quickly becoming a major manufacturer and supplier in the country, also offering the tram and railway permanent way installation services. Booming urban rail transportation and the related growing user expectation impel us to improve traditional designs by using long-lasting materials, as well as to search for new solutions that ensure the high quality and reliability of manufactured products with the lowest possible maintenance expenditures.
