For the Pre-Fabrykat company, the main contractor of the contract “Construction of a rail-bus service hall for Koleje Dolnośląskie S.A.”, we performed all track work related to this investment.
The works, the total value of which amounted to more than PLN 3.5 million (gross), were carried out from 28 July 2017 to 29 December 2017.
The scope of the works included:
track works outside the hall – including demolition of the old permanent way, groundworks, construction of a new substructure and basic track with a length of 0.655 km, installation of 12 sets of turnouts and repair of another two, replacement of turnout sections, construction of five buffer stops, installation of a crossing on CBP slabs, installation of manual drives, cleaning, correction and repair of the remaining part of the track;
track works on steel poles in the hall – laying about 0.21 km of permanent way made of 49E1 reclaimed rails on steel poles, together with fixing the rails to the steel poles with welded ribber tie plates;
track works in canals inside the hall – laying about 0.092 km of permanent way made of 49E1 reclaimed rails on a reinforced concrete canal – track on a point grout, including anchoring the tracks, constructing a grout under the ribber tie plate.
