On behalf of Tramwaje Śląskie S.A. with its registered seat in Chorzów, KZN Rail performed a task entitled: “Modernization of the entrance junction to the Łagiewniki Depot in Bytom.”
The works were carried out from 1 December 2020 to 29 January 2021, and their total gross value amounted to nearly PLN 4 300 000.
The scope of the works included:
- demolition works,
- execution of a trackbed with ballast in the range of 322 meters of single track, along with a stabling track terminating with a buffer stop;
- installation of 3 single-track turnouts and 4 double-track incomplete turnouts;
- installation of EPT crossing plates on cement and sand bedding in the amount of 16 meters of single track.
