On behalf of Tramwaje Śląskie S.A. with its registered seat in Chorzów, KZN Rail performed a task entitled: “Modernization of the tram terminus Stadion Śląski Pętla Wschodnia in Chorzów”.
The works were carried out from 17 October 2022 to 30 November 2022, and their total gross value amounted to nearly PLN 3,975,000.00.
The scope of the investment task included:

demolition of the permanent way;
-
construction of a new tram track with a length of 350 meters of single track using ballast technology, along with substructure, ballasting, profiling, tamping and grinding of the track;

delivery and installation of five complete track turnouts on wooden switch sleepers, two electric switch control drives and switch heating system;

track drainage.
