Between 15 March 2021 and 30 November 2021, we carried out works under the task “Modernization of the tram track and catenary on the route of no. 2 line in the section from Niepodległości Square to Reja Street” in Toruń.
The task was divided into two stages:

Stage I – the section along Kraszewskiego Street

Stage II – the section along Broniewskiego Street, including the intersection of Reja and Broniewskiego Streets

A total of more than 2,575 meters of single track was modernized.
The scope of works included:

installation of tracks and turnouts on continuous grout
-
installation of tracks in prefabricated slabs (embedded rail system)
-
installation of expansion joints on pre-stressed concrete sleepers
-
construction of linear and point drainage of the track system
