We carry out welding works both as part of the executed investment projects and for external companies. Welding services are carried out during modernization works (installation of new turnouts, transition joints, expansion joints, rail joining), but also maintenance and repair works (replacement of rails, damage repair). All works are conducted based on certified thermite and electric welding technologies.
- The company holds valid licenses for using thermit welded rail joints on PKP PLK S.A. infrastructure manufactured using the following methods: SoWoS, SoWoS-P, SoWoS120, SoWoS-P 350.
- KZN Rail holds a valid certificate – welding procedure qualification record (WPQR) – for manufacturing electrically welded rail joints using flux-cored wire.
- Employees hold the relevant certificates, authorizing them to perform welding works within the scope of termite (PKP PLK S.A.) and electric (TUV SUD) welding of rails and turnouts. All this backed by years of experience, as well as appropriate equipment with full technical facilities.
- Supervisory personnel is qualified to supervise, inspect the execution of and accept welding works performed in steel railway and tram permanent way.
