PWP gantries – railway

The longitudinal and lateral unloading technology of the PWP gantries allows to unload the entire train set with turnouts or other prefabricated elements of railway infrastructure (e.g., track sections, crossing slabs) without switching wagons and additional shunting. This solution, apart from clearly reducing the time of construction works, it is also highly effective in situations where the shunting and unloading tracks are located far away from the unloading site, especially on one-track lines.

Such a solution was used, among others, at the Glinik Charzewski and Majdan Królewski stations, where no shunting and parking tracks were available.
