Alteration of the tram track along the Nikodem and Józef Renc route in Katowice 

The alteration of the tram track in Załęże district of Katowice included a total of about 1520 meters of single track. As part of it, we performed a comprehensive replacement of the structure, i.e. cement-stabilized soil, substructure layers and track grid. The track was made using ballast technology on pre-stressed concrete sleepers with vibration isolation inserts and flexible rail fixing system. Prefabricated EPT slabs have been laid in the area of pedestrian crossings and the track and road crossings, stop platforms have been altered and new shelters were installed. The alteration also included the power supply system from the Bracka substation, replacement of the catenary along with equipment, repair of catenary poles, construction of track drainage and alteration of the drainage system. 

The task was performed from 24 June 2022 to 10 February 2023 and its value amounted to PLN 8,654,311.54 net
