Construction and alteration of a tram line at Wojska Polskiego Street in the section from Franciszkańska Street to Strykowska Street, together with the alteration of the road system and necessary infrastructure, as well as construction of a tram connectio

As part of the task at Strykowska Street in Łódź we performed the following works in October 2023: 
- laying of 165 meters of single track on pre-stressed concrete sleepers, along with adjustment and tamping, 
- laying of 113 meters of single track turnouts and crossings on wooden turnouts, along with adjustment and tamping,  
- performing flaw detection tests of the performed welds,  
- installation of two buffer stops,  
- construction of sand drag from railway crushed stone and key aggregate, 
- installation of three sets of manual drives for 1000 mm tram turnouts. 
All works have been carried out in accordance with technical requirements and ensures safe and efficient operation of the tracks along Strykowska Street as part of the task entitled: “Construction and alteration of the tram line at Wojska Polskiego Street in the section from Franciszkańska Street to Strykowska Street, together with alteration of the road system and necessary infrastructure, as well as construction of a tram connection along Strykowska Street with the ŁKA Łódź Marysin stop, together with alteration of water pipelines in Wojska Polskiego Street and at in intersections included in the alteration of the road system”.
