On 16 January 2023 the Technical Facilities for the Koleje Małopolskie rolling stock operation were officially opened. The project was carried out in the “design and build” formula by KZN Rail together with the consortium partner Budimex S.A. The value of the contract is nearly PLN 74 million net.
As part of the project, together with our subcontractors, we designed and executed the following on commission from Koleje Małopolskie:
– over 3200 meters of track,
– 14 turnouts,
– 91 catenary poles,
– 70 lighting poles,
– electric points heating system,
– railway traffic control system,
– catenary disconnectors remote control system on the hall.
The construction permit was issued in September 2021 and the works concluded on 30 November 2022
