In autumn 2023, the expansion of the tramway depot at 40 Kołobrzeska Street in Olsztyn was completed, including the construction of a depot building, a garbage dump, a tank for sanding up, a water treatment station for the washing station, roads, tram tracks, external installations: catenary, catenary duct system, LV power supply system, MV power supply system, communications duct bank, water supply system, sanitary sewage system, rainwater drainage system, as well as demolition of external installations: LV power supply, gas supply, communications, water supply, sanitary sewage system, rainwater drainage system, heating and technological system.
The new facility mirrors the depot, which was completed in 2015. The project was entrusted to a consortium of Budimex and KZN Rail.
The following tasks were carried out as part of the depot expansion:

A double-track single crossing and 30 turnouts manufactured by KZN Bieżanów were installed, with 28 of them in continuous grout technology and two on SPT-06 pre-stressed concrete switch sleepers.
KZN Rail performed its works from March to October 2023.
