Track, catenary and accompanying infrastructure modernization at the Chebzie terminus in Ruda Śląska – stage II

As part of the investment task entitled “Track, catenary and accompanying infrastructure modernization at the Chebzie terminus in Ruda Śląska – stage II” performed in cooperation with “NJN” Damian Kłosek, KZN Rail Sp. z o.o. performed alteration works of the track system, including:

– execution of approximately 670 meters of ballasted track on pre-stressed concrete sleepers, together with laying a ballast bed of 31,5–50 railroad ballast and final profiling with the same aggregate;

– installation of approximately 80 meters of single track using the point grout technology, along with the execution of cast-in-place concrete subgrade slabs and final profiling;

– installation of 9 turnouts, 2 track connections and 7 sets of expansion joints on a classic base of ballast on SPT-06 type pre-stressed concrete switch sleepers;

– installation of 5 turnouts and 2 track crossings using point grout technology;

– installation of 1 turnout in prefabricated slabs using Contrack technology.
