Modernization of the Przemyśl Bakończyce railway siding – one year has passed

A Year Has Passed Since the Start of the Przemyśl Bakończyce Railway Siding Redevelopment – and a Lot is Happening!

Twelve months ago, together with our Consortium Partner, Wadoma, we launched a modernization project that will transform the future operations of this site for years to come.

Today, intensive construction work is underway across many areas of the project:

• We are continuing brickwork and sandwich panel installation in the workshop hall,

• Structural works are ongoing on the office and administration building,

• Masonry and reinforced concrete works have been completed in the rectifier building,

• The walls of the new railway signal box are rising rapidly,

• We are dismantling and rebuilding the culvert under the track system,

• Our team is fully engaged in road construction works,

• Work continues on the traction network and the installation of cabling infrastructure across the site,

• Sanitary works are also being carried out with determination.

Last Saturday, we tackled yet another challenge — we delivered a turnout in blocks using the innovative "Switcher" system!
