We are completing the first stage of track works at Zawiszy Square in Warsaw!

We’ve finished applying the pourable mass around the tram switches and on the double-track straight section within the roundabout. This is an important step to ensure the durability of the surface and reduce vibrations during tram operations.

Earlier, we installed large-format prefabricated KZN Contrack slabs – the first surface of this kind in Warsaw!

Currently, finishing works are underway on the ballasted section of the track. We’re finalizing alignment in both plan and profile, and completing the final welds connecting the new surface with the existing tracks.

In parallel:

• we have prepared a new section of the bike path,

• restored the asphalt road surface,

• and are continuing paving works near pedestrian crossings.

Starting 19 July, trams will return to the approach from Grójecka Street, and the next phase of works will begin on the Aleje Jerozolimskie side.
